Johnson Park is a large park with many amenities. It includes picnic areas, a disc golf course, and a fishing pond. There is also a paved walking and biking path. In addition, there are baseball diamonds and a nature walk. The main entrance is off Butterworth Drive.

Johnson Park was established in 1928. The park consists of 260 acres of land. One of the largest parks in the state, it touches four major cities in the area.

The park features two separate areas: one is the north area, which has a large playground structure. Other amenities include restrooms, grills, a boat launch, and river access.
